Litigation lawyers - looking for a contract role until the end of December?

We're recruiting a Legal Officer or Senior Legal Officer (APS6 to EL1 equivalent) for a contract role with a Commonwealth government client.

The role will include:

  • managing all steps in the litigation process

  • involvement in range of matters from judicial review to class actions to AAT matters

  • working with external law firms, Comcover and OLSC

  • briefing internal clients, the Executive team and the Minister's Office

  • managing subpoenas

You'll have at least 3 years' PAE.

Ideally, you'll be available to start immediately and be based in Canberra onsite with our client. Remote work is a possibility for the right candidate.

Full time availability is preferred, but not essential.

A Baseline security clearance is desirable, but not essential.
