Senior Lawyer (EL1 equivalent) - secondment opportunity
Are you a Lawyer with at least 4 years' PAE? Looking for an exciting new role with a Commonwealth agency in Canberra?
Tasks will include:
- preparing legal advice on a wide range of topics
- advising on, and contributing to the drafting of, agreements
- reviewing formal briefs and minutes, and assisting internal clients with emerging legal issues
- supporting the work of other legal teams, including assisting with legislation development
You'll have:
- clear, concise advice writing and strong written communications skills
- experience with statutory interpretation in complex legislative frameworks
- well developed client management skills
Initial six-month contract, with the possibility further extension(s).
