In-house counsel role with a Canberra-based tech company

Our sister company, FLXBL, is recruiting an in-house lawyer for an exciting role with a technology company in Canberra.

This is a rare opportunity to secure a permanent in-house position in Canberra: bring your legal skills and commercial acumen to support the company’s small but dynamic legal team.

You will:

  • Provide effective and timely legal advice across a range of areas

  • Proactively identify risks, and devise solutions to mitigate them

  • Take a leading role in transactional legal work and negotiations

  • Work closely with the General Counsel, other lawyers and business areas on the implementation of priority projects

Skills and experience:

  • 2 to 8 years’ post-admission experience, ideally with expertise in employment law and/or contracting and procurement

  • Strong commercial acumen and sound judgement

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent work ethic and drive
