Expressions of interest - FOI and/or Privacy Lawyers

We’ve been approached by a number of Commonwealth departments and agencies who have a need for experienced FOI and/or privacy law practitioners.

As a result, we are currently seeking expressions of interest from professionals with this skillset across a range of experience levels. As well as a working knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 and/or the Privacy Act 1988, we are looking for strong communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Full time availability is ideal, but many of our clients are open to part time working arrangements for the right candidates. Contracts range from 3-12 months in length (generally with strong prospects of extension). If there is a minimum contract length you require in order to consider making a move, please let us know.

Salary is negotiable on the basis of skills and experience, and at adaptbl we pride ourselves on looking after our staff. In addition to attractive remuneration packages, we organise regular social functions and offer a range of perks and benefits to our team members.

Legal qualifications are required for some but not all roles. Similarly, existing government security clearances are required for certain roles but we are keen to hear from candidates without clearances too.
